My Story

I am Keith, a native Carolina "beachboy" (and yes, I know boy is a stretch) who now lives closer to the mountains of North Carolina. I am a Speaker, Teacher, Coach, Podcaster, Content Creator, Theologian, Apologist, Author, Entertainer, Businessman, Husband, Son, Father, and Grandfather.

I bet you are and do many things too.

I know what it's like to accomplish goals and succeed at things and to be honest, I am proud of my accomplishments. I think we should be proud when we have succeeded at things we have worked toward.

But...

I also know what it is like to fail, have set-backs, lose in relationships, and be forced to make major life pivots just to survive.

The thing is...whether on the mountaintop or in the valley...I remained determined to heal and thrive.

So, I've done it. I've successfully pivoted multiple times.

But...I know it is also helpful for you to know some of my specific qualifications so here you go:

I have over 35 years of experience speaking and teaching all across the United States. I have over 40 years working in the business/education worlds (being self-employed for much of that as well). I have taught corporate executives, church members and leaders around the country and middle school, high school, and college students through a variety of my self-created courses and subjects. I have spoken to audiences both large and small with the ever present hope of transformation, success, and hope.  

I have authored and published works of non-fiction as well as several works of fiction.

I have had the pure joy of coaching and/or mentoring (including years of pastoral counseling) hundreds and hundreds of people over the past 30 plus years with compassion and confidentiality.  I have done this privately and during my active practice in ordained ministry.

I have had the pleasure of entertaining audiences with my comedy and magic all around the USA for over 20 years and have done so for just about every age and in just about every venue type. I have opened and performed for celebrities, entertained church audiences, performed for 2000 NASCAR folks, and performed for the United States Military.  I have even been a show consultant for other magicians around the world.

What about the specific education? Got you...

Educationally, I have an earned Doctor of Ministry (Theology and Apologetics), a Masters of Divinity (Including Hebrew, Greek, and Pastoral Crisis Counseling), a Bachelor of Science (Business), and a Certification in Hypnosis (CH), and years of private study within various healing modalities.

Personally, I have a beautiful and loving wife, Candace, who is a professional phycologist and my greatest cheerleader and accountability partner. I am the father to one grown biological son, a daughter-in-law, and the step-father of two. I am also the very proud grandfather to one boy. I am also blessed to still have my mom (dad recently passed) and my wife's parents living and part of our lives. Yep, I am blessed. But I bet you are too! Even if you might not feel like it right now.
